Chantelle Snyman

I am an Occupational Therapist passionate about helping individuals achieve their potential and live more independent, fulfilling lives. With a commitment to improving the quality of life for people of all ages, I work collaboratively with clients to address sensory, physical, cognitive challenges that may interfere with function in daily activities.

In my practice, I believe in a holistic approach, recognizing that every person is unique. I am Ayres Sensory Integration® qualified and completed training with the latest developments in assessments and interventions.

I tailor interventions to meet the specific needs and goals of each individual. Whether it's helping a child develop motor planning skills to participate in sports, assisting an adult to understand their own sensory needs, or supporting individuals to maintain their independence at home, work or school, my goal is always the same: To empower my clients to participate in the tasks important to them.

I have experience working in both remedial and mainstream educational settings and launched my private practice in 2018. With 15 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist, working within an Sensory Integration Framework, I understand the importance of providing empathetic care and building trusting relationships, helping clients navigate their everyday activities. I find joy in watching my clients grow, overcome challenges, and regain confidence in their ability to navigate the world around them.

On a personal note, I am a wife and mother of a sensitive, but loving boy and a strong willed and tough little girl. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making music and listening to audiobooks. I speak both Afrikaans and English.
